Julius Caesar Books

Julius Caesar (100–44 BC) was a Roman general, statesman, and dictator whose actions led to the rise of the Roman Empire. Known for his military conquests, especially in Gaul, and his pivotal role in the collapse of the Roman Republic, Caesar also authored works such as The Gallic Wars (Commentarii de Bello Gallico), detailing his campaigns. His assassination in 44 BC marked the end of the Roman Republic.
